Professor Schneider has been awarded a Marie S. Curie FCFP Senior Fellowship from the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). Professor Schneider will spend the fall semester 2016 at FRIAS working on his book project on "Narrative Logic and Cognition: Storytelling in Medieval German Epics (1150-1230)."
The Marie S. Curie FRIAS COFUND Fellowship Program is a highly competitive, strictly merit-based fellowship program (average success rate: ~10 %), sponsored by the European Union and the University of Freiburg (https://www.frias.uni-freiburg.de/en/routes-to-frias/cofund).
