Cecily Hawksworth was selected as one of the 2020 recipients of the Graduate Student Senate (GSS) outstanding staff award.
Graduate students from across the university nominate staff members in recognition of staff members who have made a strong contribution towards graduate student community development, personal relationship building, and advocacy on behalf of graduate students.
The Graduate Student Senate, which represents and advocates for the interests of graduate students, hosts an annual Outstanding Faculty & Staff Awards ceremony to honor WashU faculty and staff members who positively impact the graduate student experience. This year, the Outstanding Faculty and Staff Awards ceremony will occur on May 19 at 4pm on Zoom.
