We would like to extend our congratulations to one of our recent alumnae, Simone Pfleger, PhD '18.
She received the Dissertation Prize from the Coalition of Women in German for her 2018 dissertation, titled "(Un)Doing and (Un)Becoming: Temporality, Subjectivity, and Relationality in 21st-Century German Literature and Film."
The award is given to dissertations that "reflect the values of the Women in German Mission Statement, make a substantial contribution to the current dialogue in the given area, and demonstrate solid and innovative scholarship."
