Professor Lynne Tatlock, was recently elected an honorary member of the AATG (American Association of Teachers of German) for her extraordinary contributions to the field of German Studies.
In receiving this award, she joins a distinguished and very select group of scholars, which includes our own Egon Schwarz and Mike Lützeler. A description of the award is pasted in below:
Honorary Members are distinguished Germanists or specialists in second language acquisition with a focus on Deutsch als Fremdsprache. They are recognized scholars of international stature who have contributed to the advancement of Germanic studies in the fields of literary studies, literary criticism, linguistics, second language acquisition, or pedagogy.
