Paul Michael Lützeler's Retirement Reception & Lecture

On the occasion of his retirement, Prof. Paul Michael Lützeler, Director of the Max Kade Center for Contemporary German Literature, will give the lecture: “John Brown v. Jim Crow: Doctorow's Ragtime and Kleist's Michael Kohlhaas (In Memory of James E. McLeod)” Words of congratulations, praise, and commemoration by Lynne Tatlock and Peter Stephan Jungk.

Snacks, coffee, and tea will be served.

The Department of Germanic Languages requests that all attendees wear face coverings unless actively consuming food or beverages.
