Prof. Emeritus Egon Schwarz attended a meeting of the "PEN-Zentrum deutschsprachiger Autoren im Ausland" in Los Angeles at the end of June, held in the fabled "Villa Aurora" which belonged to Lion Feuchtwanger and was a center of German Exiles in the thirties and forties. He contributed a paper entitled "Warum ich keinen Roman geschieben habe," which was read by his wife Irene.
