DAAD Names Harris Engelmann Among Young Ambassadors for 2012-2013 Academic Year

The German Academic Exchange Service, Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD), an organization promoting and providing funding for higher education in Germany, has announced this year's participants in the Young Ambassador Program.

Congratulations to Harris Engelmann, one our students of German and European Studies, for being named a Young Ambassador for the 2012-2013 academic year!

The Young Ambassador Program honors students who have studied or interned in Germany in the previous academic year to serve as liaisons for DAAD in the U.S. and Canada, and students who are interested in promoting study in Germany at their home universities and colleges.

Engelmann traveled to New York City to participate in a four-day seminar addressing intercultural communications, presentation skills, and marketing. He will be promoting study abroad in Germany as well as representing WUSTL on a professional level.

In a letter dated October 4, 2012, Chancellor Mark Wrighton congratulated Harris Engelmann on this wonderful accomplishment and wished him continued success!
