Lutz Koepnick conducted a workshop together with Professor Frauke Berndt on “Germanistik zwischen Tuebingen and St. Louis” during a visit to the University of Tuebingen in November. After presenting selected aspects of his current research project on aesthetic slowness, Koepnick discussed the diverse institutional and intellectual trajectories of German Studies in the US and in Germany and responded to lively questions about the styles of academic work on either side of the Atlantic.
