Ervin Malakaj was awarded a Fulbright research grant for 2012-13. He will spend the year at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany, working on his dissertation project "Aesthetics of Boredom and Troubles of Leisure in German Realist Fiction."
Melissa Olson has been awarded a fellowship with the Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies at the Freie Universität in Berlin to conduct research on her dissertation project 'Poster Art and Cinema of the Weimar Republic" during the 2012-13 academic year.
