Claire Meyer began as the department's Business Coordinator on July 5, 2017.
As a native St. Louisan, she is very pleased to return to her hometown. After graduating from Nerinx Hall High School, Claire spent a year as a Rotary Youth Exchange student in Sardinia, Italy, and then earned her undergraduate degree in international business from Saint Louis University's Madrid, Spain campus. After graduating, she spent close to two years working in Washington, DC at the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center, a research center on financial literacy housed at the George Washington University School of Business. Claire takes care of the financial side of things, and other business matters for the German Department and the Program in Comparative Literature.
Fun fact: Back in 2008, Claire attended our German Day as a high school student. She'd like to brush up on her German while working for the department.
